Nowadays, you can help us grow in the financial area. We are hiring a Commercial Project manager, who has experiences with a project leading, working with excel and language skills. You will be communicating with both our customers and colleagues from our international headquarter.

In the role of Project Economist (Commercial Project Manager - CPM) you will be responsible for project life cycles by individual projects. Starting with Initiation, Planning, Execution up to Closing. 


Your role:

  • Contract creation (customer/ supplier contracts)
  • Regular contact with HQ (project offers, project implementation) and communication with our customers about business related topics
  • Cross-departmental communication (Legal, Tax, Accounting)
  • Preparation of project calculations, monitoring and interpretation of variationsnby actual figures vs. plan
  • Adjustment of calculations during a project implementation

CPM needs to understand the figures, particularly following:

  • Month-End closing processes (billing/ invoices for advance payment, invoice approval, journal entry for accrued expenses, creating reserves, controlling of projects outcome on a monthly basis)
  • Controlling of profit center/ cost centres
  • Monthly reporting KPI (P&L, FCF, Balance)
  • Budget and Forecast creation
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting
  • Cooperation during audits

What skills, qualifications and experience do you need for this role?

  • Project leadership experiences in the role of an economist (2 years min.)
  • Analytical thinking, reliability, diligence, independence, and stress resistance
  • English language skills – phone/ e-mail communication with colleagues in the concern
  • Advanced computer skills - Office 365 (Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, the ability to interpret the report outputs (P&L, Balance, Cash Flow)

This would set you apart from other candidates

  • German (B1 level) – for a communication with our German speaking colleagues from Germany and Austria
  • Knowledge of basic IFRS principles
  • SAP
