PreSales Solutions Consultant - Capital Electrical Systems Design REMOTE

Job Description

As part of the software sales team, participate in the sales process to facilitate sales of software. Lead the engagement with customers and prospects to gather high level customer business and technical requirements, understand existing information technology infrastructure and determine customers business needs as part of the sales effort.

Utilizing advanced knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices and competitive differentiation, support product and solution positioning by leading the preparation and delivery of demonstrations of the technical capabilities of the proposed solutions to customers using customized and standard material.

Speak with authority and be a trusted advisor on our customer's business issues, and how Capital and Xcelerator can improve their business. Lead the selection of appropriate suites of technology, the development of proposals for customer process improvement which ensure the interoperability and effectiveness of the overall solution within the context of the customer’s business. Works on highly complex issues/projects. May provide guidance and mentoring to others on the capabilities and business value of the Company's products and solutions.

The Presales Solution Consultant (PSC) will be considered a trusted advisor to customers and prospects for the Capital Electrical Systems Design suite. The PSC will be available to Presales Solution Consultants, Account Orchestrators, Portfolio Development and Technical Account Managers as a subject matter expert assisting them with closing opportunities during all phases of the opportunity engagement. The PSC will report to the Presales Solution Consulting Manager as a senior member of the team and will provide counsel to the manager to support day to day operations of the team.


Specific Duties include:
• Deliver demos and presentations as required to assist with opportunity closure
• Prepare and unique deliver process-level documentation based on customer requirements
• Be available to consult with customers to address their concerns and objections
• Prepare best practice documentation, educate the team on best practices
• Prepare Animated, reusable demo material to be used by the team
• Work with domain specialists to bring the voice of the customer to the product development process

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of Capital in general and your specific specialty
• At least 5+ years of experience using the Capital software solution
• At least 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry working with Capital or equivalent tools
• Must be open to an average of 30% - 50% domestic travel
• Must be able to work remote (virtual office)
• Must have self-learning abilities
• Self-motivated and enthusiastically focused on problem solving
• Strong technical and written communication skills
• Must currently reside in the continental United States
• Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, electrical preferred
• Experience with Teamcenter and NX
• Ability to program utilizing java for the Capital API
