IT Solution Expert – Digital Customer Journey

What part will you play?

Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is using a number of externally developed and operated systems for the digital customer journey, including systems for document creation, management and retrieval, electronic signatures and customer requests and self service. There are different systems for different use cases, which are constantly evolving. You will be part of an international team that is responsible for the maintenance and operation of these system, analyzing requirements as a bridge between the business and the software vendors, coordinating the implementation and rollout of changes, do first tests of new deliveries and analyze problems. This team forms the expert knowledge pool in the applications and the corresponding processes.

As an IT Solution Expert, you will:

  • Coordinate, manage and support end-to-end business analysis and system configuration, support estimations and prioritization of changes, training, testing, documentation and go-live.
  • Work closely together with IT architects, service managers, vendors, service integrators, business, and delivery & release management.
  • Provide proactive maintenance and support in conjunction with the support/systems teams, handle incidents and service requests as well as perform application monitoring and reporting.

  • Consult the business for integration of new technologies and process improvements, increasing efficiency for the team, the customer, end users and business profitability.
  • Ensure the systems are compliant and secure, and any changes are performed in accordance with our change management procedures and audit standards.
  • Understand the business functionality and data model including system impacts / risks.
  • Perform IT Tests and coordinate business tests for changes managed by you upon new releases, fixes or enhancements.
  • Support projects throughout their lifetime, with a focus on requirements analysis and creation of designs.
​ To make a difference, you must have:

  •       Experience in application maintenance and/or IT projects
  •        Knowledge of standard change processes (ITIL) and requirements analysis processes.
  •        Consciousness for regulatory and audit requirements.
  •        At least a basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
  •        Analytical mindset & decision making with result and quality orientation​.
  •        Customer centric oriented, self-driven and self-motivated​.
  •        Communication skills with multiple stakeholders with different domain knowledge.
  •        Team player mentality with end-to-end ownership​.
  •        The ability to work in both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies​.
  •        Result and quality orientation with adherence to timelines and compliance guidelines​
  •        Business-fluent English language skills (speaking and writing) are necessary.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills and Experience:

  • Preferably experience in Finance / Services Business
  • Preferably experience with Document Management Systems or any of the other Tools in the areas listed below; ZenDesk or any other Customer Service Tool, Document Production Systems (eg. ExStream), Chatbots or other latest AI technologies to interact along the Customer Journey
