Job Description

The Role.

Siemens Advanta is seeking the next generation of digital transformation experts to serve as Associate 
Solution Architects within our Solutions EMEA team. The Associate Solution Architect will learn from and work alongside experienced solution architects, SMEs, and technologists to define, design, and capture technical solutions and approaches in compelling graphics and storylines. Other responsibilities include:
  • Serving as a member of the opportunity response team and partnering with Capture Managers to hone win strategies and articulate the ‘why us' story
  • Partnering with experienced solution architects, technical experts, and customer domain SMEs to support solutioning activities, resulting in differentiated, well-articulated solutions that address customer pain points
  • Supporting the solicitation response with writing and graphics
  • Continuously researching and learning new technologies and processes 
  • Iteratively reviewing content
  • Adhering to the application of proposal best practices
As Associate Solutions Architect, you will:
  • Support Analysing clients’ strategy, operating vision, business imperatives and capabilities in the domain you operate, being an industry SME
  • Support Creates E2E solutions in situations in which analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Responsible for identifying and assessing complex problems for area of responsibility, owning the solution design
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on deal pursuits, with minimal oversight
  • Collaborates across the ecosystem to engage with the appropriate SMEs for solution inputs/ outputs as needed (consulting/ transformation, delivery/ operations, pricing performance and proposal response etc.)
  • High Level knowledge of existing, new, and emerging digital technologies and being able to practically apply them
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Collaborating with Senior Architects and stakeholders to identify and prioritizing value opportunities and develop digital transformation roadmaps
  • Support Developing & presenting the business case, solution architecture, and implementation roadmap for clients’ transformation journeys
  • Work effectively as a supportive team member or a subject matter expert and can support delivery teams to improve contribution through different stages of a project lifecycle from initial assessments to solution launch to achieve project commercial objectives and client outcomes.
  • Build and maintain enduring client and partner relationships

  • Industrial Equipment

  • Automotive
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with Clients and Partners in requirement gathering, business systems analysis, conducting workshops, design & delivery of solutions for projects in the Utilities or Energy sectors
  • Desire to have or have TOGAF or similar experience in solution design
  • Ability to produce documentation and deliverables to support end to end design
  • Ability to present to peers and customers alike the vision of the solution
  • Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS offerings (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Strong organisational skills and experience of resource management, working as part of, or leading a high performing team.  Bring your individuality and being a team player, who brings passion and energy to your day-to-day work is key!

  • Ability to support creation of status reports and articulate summaries of key risks, issues, and dependencies
