Baseline Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
  • Available to work in a part-time capacity in Spring 2023

Technical Application Development Intern
As part of our IT Software Product Support organization, you will become immersed in application development and support activities for our TAC (Technical Access Center) software. TAC is the enterprise platform for Product Development and Support operations within Siemens Digital Industries Software. The Application Development intern will champion projects to:
  • Database administration
  • Application development
  • Quality Testing
  • Hep Desk functions for the Products Applications group
Organization Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an undergraduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Available to work in a part-time capacity in Spring 2023
  • Experience in Java programming mandatory.
  • Experience with relational databases and server scripting (Linux) highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in Perl, PHP, JavaScript, XML, SQL desirable.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a technology supplier to the United States Federal Government. Recently The White House issued an Executive Order requiring most federal workers, contractors and subcontractors who do business with the government to get vaccinated against COVID-19 unless granted an accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or practice.  The Company has decided to pause enforcement of the vaccine mandate for the time being while the issue is addressed by the courts. We will be monitoring the situation closely and may lift the pause if required to do so in order to be in compliance with federal law.  If this pause is lifted you will be expected to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
