Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and manages the customer project according to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements, and with end to end responsibility for economic results, quality, schedule and EHS.
- Represent the project towards customers and business partners and due execution of the Customer Agreement
- Drives own empowerment with adequate signature authorization and target agreement to manage the project as entrepreneur
- Stands for overall responsibility on project results based on strategic priorities and set goals (e.g. budget, quality, schedule, EHS)
- Stands for taken decisions towards senior management even against resistance
- Responsible to implement the project in accordance to PM@Siemens
Main Duties:
- Perform Controlling and reporting
- Prepare audits and revisions
- Perform regular project reporting
- Convene workshops and milestone meetings
- Prepare and hold project status meetings
- To professional advice the project team
- Provide logistic project coordination (transport, customs duty, taxes, licenses etc.)
- Select the core team in cooperation with business managers and define individual tasks
- Conclude target agreements with the managers of sub-projects
- Conduct internal project controlling (performance progress, schedules, costs, quality, etc.) based on work packages
- Develop and implement countermeasures if the project deviates from the plan
- Develop and utilize good contract management methodology
- Implement defect tracking management
- Compile the final project report
- Define and implement corrective actions
- Distribution of information within the project team
- Perform Stakeholder Management
- Document claims and implement change management
Qualifications required for the position:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of project management in railway projects preferably in Depot Equipment projects
- Proven track record in managing large scale infrastructure projects
- Intercultural sensitive and experienced in managing multinational teams
- Able to manage a project within the framework of approved costs and appropriate signature authority
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical or equivalent
- Extensive experience in rolling stock equipment maintenance
- Fast learner and keen to learn
- Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player who is analytical, highly motivated and independent with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
- Work experience in LTA railway projects.
