Baseline Requirements:
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or masters level student
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
• Preferred sophomore or junior status
• Able to work from Milford, OH without relocation assistance

Global Strategy and Marketing
Community Manager Intern
We are seeking either a full or part-time intern for spring 2023 to join our Digital Customer Experience Team! This student will report directly to the Director of Customer Experience, and will be supervised and mentored by our Community Strategist. In this role, we are seeking a creative thinker, and innovative doer – focused on the areas of customer community management and programming.
Essential Functions:
• Perform regular research on the topics of and around online customer communities, social networking with customers and community technology needs.
• Work closely with the Customer Community Strategist and Community Program Manager to support the quarterly goals for the DI SW Customer Community.
• Collaborate business groups and Community managers to come up with ideas for future programming and community expansion.
• Write project plans for agreed upon Community programs and execute the plans to completion.
• Lead topic threads or forums in specific Community groups.
• Plan at least one Community event, such as an Ask Me Anything, and execute it fully.
Skills and Abilities Required:
• Empathy
• Excellent communicator, better listener
• Fantastic writer who can write engaging content
• Effective project manager
• Enjoys research
• Knows “Yes, and…”
• Can bring wacky ideas to the table and comfortable with iteration
Education and Experience Requirement:
• College or university student
• No specific major is required but a business background is helpful
• Must be looking to build people skills and have a genuine interest in helping customers
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
• Following Siemens Strategic Student Program guidelines
• No travel expected
• Requires work at a desk, on a computer, and attending virtual conference calls
• Public speaking at virtual events or presentations
Global Strategy and Marketing
Culture and Employee Experience Intern
We are seeking either a full or part-time intern for spring 2023 to join our Digital Customer Experience Team! This student will report directly to the Director of Customer Experience. In this role, we are seeking a creative thinker, and innovative doer – focused on the areas of diversity, inclusion, equity and evolving both culture and employee engagement.
Essential Functions:
• Perform regular research on the topics of and around culture, diversity, inclusion, equity and well-being to ensure that the plans and programs are forward-leaning and anticipating the quickly changing trends.
• Work closely with the Executive and Culture Communications team to support messaging plans for internal communications and ensure key messages around culture, diversity, inclusion, equity and well-being are upheld and consistent throughout company communications.
• Collaborate with Siemens US, DI global and Siemens AG to assure messages and events are shared.
• Attend regular meetings for DI SW Diversity/Inclusion/Equity Council and ERG leaders to communicate, collaborate and plan initiatives for the company.
• Help build and execute programs needed to reach the KPIs and impact expected for culture and employee experience.
• Update and manage the Diversity & Inclusion SharePoint site for the company.
• Plan, write and manage regular communications that drive the D&I communications plan.
• Help build a KPI dashboard to measure impact of DEI and culture initiatives.
