This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Manager of DevOps, you will be responsible for:

·       Relentlessly improving the DevOps strategy to ensure scalability, reliability, and quality for our continuous integration pipeline utilizing the cloud, virtual machines, and physical prototypes

o   Making recommendations and assessments of builds, deployments, tools, and DevOps processes across teams

o   Ensuring the on-time delivery and coordination of DevOps initiatives in collaboration with architects and program managers to meet project deadlines

·       Formulating and communicating DevOps strategy and accomplishments / impediments to stakeholders on a regular basis

·       Ensuring reliability, efficiency, and quality of the software installation for our PET-CT scanners

o   Monitoring the health of our systems in the field

o   Securing our systems from vulnerabilities and ensuring our capability to install software remotely

·       Completing hands-on work when needed to complete the project mission and timeline. Be prepared to get your hands dirty with programming and testing

·       Fostering open communication and fast feedback with development teams to improve developer efficiency and workflows

·       Working with teams across time zones (Knoxville, Germany, and India)

·       Taking bold action to ensure there is a strong, diverse team leadership pipeline in place to meet aggressive business goals

·       Developing, coaching, and nurturing employees to perform at their best

·       You have strong programming and testing experience

·       You have excellent planning, communication, and presentation skills, including the capability to listen and influence. 

·       You have the ability to manage the workload for multiple simultaneous projects

·       You deeply understand the healthcare environment or have experience in another FDA-regulated industry

·       You have a solid understanding of Agile/Lean leadership principles (knowledge of SAFe methodology is a plus)

Required skills to have for the success of this role

·       Bachelor’s degree in technological or related field and a minimum of 5 years of management experience

·       Minimum of 5-8 years PET Technology experience; including experience in a Medical Technology industry

·       Willing to travel up to 20%
