Position Overview
The Price Strategy Manager will work within the Strategic Pricing Organization to execute the Siemens Smart Infrastructures (SI) and Digital Industries (DI) Quarterly List Price Adjustment Project. This position will act across Siemens Operating Companies (SI & DI) with regards to pricing and commercial related topics.

• Lead and manage the quarterly List Price Adjustment Project for the SI and DI organization. This includes creating and enforcing timelines, conducting status meetings, and performing impact analysis of proposed pricing changes.
• Coordinate with product management, channel marketing, back office logistics, and business development managers to deliver price adjustments to our customers.
• Align across business groups to ensure the proper communication of List Price Adjustment events to external and internal partners.
• Identify, research, and resolve internal and external pricing issues.
• Extract information from multiple sources (Tableau, SAP, PMD, Industry Mall, etc.) to perform root cause analysis of price issues.
• Perform impact analysis and consultation for pricing of new and existing product and product groups.
• Conduct list price audits and approve list prices for new product introductions in SI EP. Performs cost/price analysis, modeling, and estimates, consistent with company policies.
• Work with Product Managers to deploy pricing strategy for new and existing products.
• Guide Product Management in developing pricing strategies that align with go-to-market-strategy.
• Work cross-functionally to define and refine pricing strategy related improvements.
• Implement a full range of complementary tasks and marketing projects as assigned.
• Proactively develop/optimize methodologies to improve process flow.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in pricing strategy, finance, or product marketing experience.
• Strong skills in Excel (Macros, Power Pivot).
• Self-motivated and can perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to create, present, and communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences.
• Experience working with large amounts of data.
• Strong analytical and qualitative skills with ability to analyze and organize data to present different scenarios and recommendations.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid process mindset with ability to drive solutions.
• Responds well to changes in direction, unexpected circumstances, and ambiguous situations.
• Ability to coordinate and organize information from internal and external sources to support research, development, and execution of projects on time.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and projects with follow-through and meet deadlines.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of SAP (SQ00).
• Experience working with Tableau and creating dashboards.
• Familiarity with SalesForce Applications.
• Microsoft Access or comparable database knowledge- understanding of SQL a plus.
• Excellent relationship building skills.
• Demonstrated results in project management.
• Knowledge of sales process, channels to market, and competition.
