We are looking for people with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow within the new and exciting vertical market of Intralogistics within our Digital Industries Division as a Vertical Account Manager. The role requires travel across England to help develop and find new accounts and business opportunities in this vertical market which will be a mix of existing strategic end-users and a number of supply chain accounts. 

This is an exciting position for a strategic sales professional looking to make the next step into Vertical Account Management. This role is ideally suited to an individual who thrives on working as an entrepreneur, and who has a proven track record of developing revenue in new markets

This is your role. What part will you play?

  • Will identify and develop new accounts and opportunities within the new accounts as well as platform accounts to meet sales targets within the Intralogistics and automated warehouse sector.
  • Use a value selling approach whereby the role holder will empathise with the customer, fully understand their requirements and align this with the Siemens portfolio.
  • Drive and develop a Siemens specification from the end user and ensure compliance throughout with OEM and system integrators.
  • Build & maintain strong, long lasting trusted advisor relationships with Intralogistic customers in order to demonstrate the value of the Siemens proposition to key decision makers within the accounts.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Siemens proposals, products, solutions according to the customer needs and objectives.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Develop an account business plan for assigned accounts including setting a long term goal for the accounts and identifying strategic projects which make up the plan.
  • Achieve agreed sales and turnover target.
Use your skills to move the world forward.
  • Experience as a successful Account Manager within the electrical components market

  • Real passion and commitment to work in a team and take ownership to help lead this vertical market approach.
  • The ability to manage resources, activities and time effectively.
  • The capability to present convincingly the Siemens proposition at board level is essential.
  • UK full driving licence 
  • Experience selling to end users and developing a specification would be desirable.
