Then come and join our global team as Senior Software Architect (f/m/d) for the native/ syngo platform.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the evolution of the software architecture of the native/syngo platform towards a highly scalable, highly available performant backend architecture as well as a client architecture that can run on different end devices and form factors
  • You will define and implement architecture specifications (product code, test code, documentation) and software components (error analysis and correction)
  • You will drive quality assurance in technical decisions regarding consistency, runtime qualities and development qualities for multiple subsystems
  • You will be responsible for the technical leadership and coaching of one or more development teams
  • You will work nationally and internationally with internal and external architects such as partner companies and collaboration partners.
  • You will coordinate the product management in the product definition (feature roadmap) and derive the resulting technology and architecture roadmap.
  • You will be responsible for creating and maintaining feasibility studies and prototypes
  • You will drive innovation in terms of development and product technologies and optimise continuous integration

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a completed university degree in the field of information technology, electrical engineering or comparable
  • You have many years of professional experience in the field of medical technology or in the IT product or solution business
  • You have initial professional management experience as a senior developer
  • You have in-depth knowledge in medical technology or in the IT product or solution business
  • You have in-depth knowledge of software architecture and development (architecture concepts, patterns, frameworks, design guidelines) as well as very good programming languages (C#, C++, .NET technology) knowledge
  • Knowledge in enterprise SW technologies (distributed systems, network topologies, Cloud Native Computing Foundation) is desirable

  • You have a very good command of written and spoken English. German language skills are an advantage
  • You enjoy working in an intercultural environment and maintaining supplier relationships
  • You like to show initiative, have sound analytical skills as well as strategic thinking
