This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in their career. As a Kit Assembler, you will be responsible for:
- Assemble and test mechanical assemblies used in medical imaging systems.
- Use written procedures and mechanical drawings as needed.
- Gather information and enter it into internal computer systems.
- Use tools and test equipment provided (e.g., hand tools, torque wrenches).
Required skills or experience:
- Ability to learn and apply new technical skills.
- Ability to read and follow procedures.
- Ability to accurately log data into computer systems or onto paper.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs.
Preferred skills or experience:
- Working knowledge of hand tools (e.g., mechanical or electrical torque wrenches and drills).
- Ability to read technical drawings (e.g., mechanical assembly, wiring diagrams).
- Ability to work overtime intermittently (e.g., workdays or Saturdays).
- Work experience in a technical field.
