This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Project Manager – VTLi, you will be responsible for:

  • Learn and apply the design transfer process and procedures, as documented in the Healthineers Quality Management System (DQSP)
  • Own, improve and execute the design transfer plan for the HsTnl VTLi product into the Mishawaka facility, as the leader of the Mishawaka Supply Chain & Manufacturing element team, supporting the VTLi product development core team
  • Lead the design transfer team and supporting functional representatives through the tactical execution of the plan in such a way that drives accountability, identifies and mitigates issues, actively addresses and communicates current status and any changes to planning assumptions throughout the project
  • Facilitate a culture of teamwork, candor and respect among a group of cross-functional, cross-regional and otherwise diverse colleagues who are working to achieve bold and strategically important goals
  • Apply Healthineers Performance Systems (HPS) best practices in agile management and structured problem solving to enable the team to identify and remove barriers, aggressively leveraging broader resources where needed
  • Communicate project plans and status to a wide stakeholder community -- up, across and down through the organization.
  • Develop a foundational technical knowledge base of the VTLi immunoassay product/system to ensure efficient and effective contribution and engagement with the team as a project manager in a broad array of forums

  • Honest broker who can hold matrix stakeholders accountable to commitments and resolve conflicts based on facts
  • Confident and effective communicator with strong interpersonal and matrix team-management skills, with particular focus on building cohesion across cultures, eliciting honest dialogue about challenges, and inspiring people to overachieve
  • Sufficient aptitude and interest in the science of Immunoassays to follow team discussions and probe when something may not make sense

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering major with substantial exposure to the field of Immunology/Immunoassay. MBA is preferred.
  • 7+ years of general business experience
  • 3-5 years of structured project planning and/or design transfer experience, preferably in an immunoassay product development environment
  • Certification in Project Management preferred
  • Prior experience working for a company whose products and processes are FDA regulated is preferred
