In order to develop and answer locally the challenges of our customers on cybersecurity and digitalization, Siemens Mobility BeLux is looking for a Business Developer and Sales profile with a strong focus on cybersecurity.

 

You will actively scan the market of the rail customers to detect opportunities in cybersecurity and digitalization. You will follow-up these opportunities and take the lead in answering concrete tenders when they are published. You will ensure our portfolio elements in cybersecurity are selected and are leading to concrete business, through direct offering or though offering via IT-partners.

Your future responsibilities are:

  • Customer contacts; build-up relevant contacts with different rail customers.
  • Detect customer needs and link them to the possibilities Siemens Mobility can offer.
  • Build up and maintain good relationship with the HQ from Siemens Mobility who is provider of different portfolio elements.
  • Manage (potential) business partners to realize successful offerings.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the different Business Units internally to support them with the cybersecurity sales.
  • Be up-to-date with our portfolio elements and inform the internal BeLux colleagues on the possibilities.
  • Take the lead in the creation of successful offers toward our customers (answering on the real needs of the customer, considering the Siemens Mobility strategic directions/priorities, ensuring long term profitable business).
 

What you need to succeed? 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant domain, or equivalent by experience.
  • Experience with governmental procedures (“overheidsaanbestedingen”) – official EU tendering, attribution criteria systematics.
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation in the ICT domain.
  • General knowledge of professional ICT/OT environments and systems.
  • Understanding of the general security concepts as specified by the NIST Cyber Security Framework.
  • Notions of cybersecurity regulations like IEC 62443 – ISO 27k _ TS 50701.
  • Understanding and be able to discuss about the European NIS legislation.
  • Knowledge on the implementation of a cybersecurity plan for larger organizations.
  • You have a positive and proactive personality with a critical and analytical mindset. Beside that, you have an excellent communication that helps you develop and maintain good relationships.
  • At the one hand, you are stress resistant to cope with deadlines for offer phases and at the other hand, you can deal with long cycle times before first successes.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
