Software Engineer Test Automation for WinCC OA

Job Description

We at Siemens Advanta Slovakia develop SCADA product WinCC Open Architecture ( for industry automation. We are looking for a software engineer for test automation.

You will be responsible for securing our software quality within a dedicated Scrum Team. Starting with reviewing the requirements within the Backlog Refinement, the creation of test concepts up to test specification and implementation of fully automated tests with Cypress, Squish and our own script language Control. Another range of responsibility will be the deployment, enhancement and maintenance of the test infrastructure via Jenkins and Azure pipelines, using various container solutions.

Need to have: 
- Structured and team-oriented way of working
- Excellent analytic skills
- Basic operating system knowhow on Debian, RHEL and Windows
- Programming experience in an object-oriented language
- Good written and spoken English

Nice to have: 
- Experience with agile software development processes
- SCADA/HMI and/or SPS
- Knowledge in Azur- and Jenkins Pipelines
- C++ or other programming skills
- Squish, Cypress knowledge

From 1 700 EUR/month brutto + variable part
