Then come and join our global team as a Medical Physicist (f/m/d) for Sales Support in Molecular Imaging. Your task will be to help the international sales teams and customers with the technical information and services needed to integrate PET/CT, SPECT/CT and SPECT systems in clinical departments.

Choose the best place for your work – Although the position will be based in Erlangen, Germany, within its scope, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will take over the support and site set-up for key users that are involved in reference site visits, clinical image acquisitions and clinical research projects
  • You will be representing the Siemens Healthineers Molecular Imaging (MI) Business Line in international standards associations, such as IEC and DIN
  • You will provide technical support for sales-related topics
  • You will be the expert support for syngo.via applications for PET and SPECT
  • You will initiate and / or support the localization of technical marketing materials for the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region

Your qualifications and experience:

  • We welcome your application, if you have successfully completed a PhD in Medical Physics with proven initial experience in nuclear medicine
  • Alternatively you have successfully completed a Master of Science degree in Medical Physics or other relevant discipline and you have gained several years of experience in nuclear medicine
  • You have already gained first clinical experience with either PET or SPECT systems, and preferably you have been exposed to both
  • You show extensive knowledge of image post-processing, preferably with syngo.via, or on other major vendor workstations

  • For internal/external meetings and conferences you are willing to travel internationally up to 40% of your working time
