We are looking for a motivated leader for our Professional Services group for the RUGGEDCOM business. In the role as Professional Services Manager, you will be responsible for a team of about 10 as their direct manager and own the responsibility of the services business globally, including its growth and profitability. You will be part of the leadership team and report into the Head of System & Sales Support.

 

This includes the following main responsibilities:

  • Develop and promote services business for Industrial Communication in the Americas and Ruggedcom globally by building rapport with the regional sales teams and leveraging headquarter business development and marketing.
  • Mentor and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service by executing all aspect of the projects (develop trust relationship with customers, execute technical scope of work, project management, documentation)
  • Evolve service and training portfolio together with the business and global system support portfolio management based on customer feedback
  • Maintain and grow the Cybersecurity solutions program together with internal cross-functions and external partners to deliver complete solutions to customers
  • Ownership of services business volume and local cost center, including support of the project manager in creating quotes, and team utilization management
  • Escalation point for any issues related to the services business, technical or commercial
  • Overall process owner, including adherence to and improvement of tools and processes such as travel guidelines, EH&S, ISO audits, compliance, etc.
 

Requirements and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Communications Engineering or equivalent, Master’s degree an asset
  • 5-10 years of experience in communication, networking, or automation business including customer service and project management
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in a matrix organization and change management
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with proven interpersonal skills and strong commitment towards customer service
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Autonomous and able to work with a minimum supervision
  • Strong time management skills and ability to self-motivate
