Siemens Grid Control solutions is mainly focused on development and execution of software solutions projects for market operators/traders and all infrastructure grids of utilities, municipalities, and non-utility customers.

In Turkey, we are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing manager in Grid Control business covering our activities as regional hub in several countries.

What part will you play?

In this role, you will be part of Siemens Grid Control sales team, you will be driving our sales activities in and maximizing our revenue from your assigned territories and accounts. You are the entrepreneurial owner and developer of structured Go-to-Market approach targeting our customers and partners. Creating loyal customers, generate growth, and maximize return on investment in alignment with our overall strategy is the base for your and our success.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Planning, coordinating, and controlling all sales activities for assigned territories and accounts
  • Development of sales strategies for the Grid Control portfolio in collaboration with other Siemens Entities under the responsibility of Siemens Turkey
  • Facilitate long term holistic strategy for customer retention to leverage future opportunities and growth
  • Market research and finding potential customers within the assigned territories, and demand creation
  • Acquisition of new customers - analytical processing of market and customer data for sales initiatives, proactive tracking of leads, qualification of customers
  • Preparation and management of offer projects in sales - complete understanding of customer requirements, development of suitable offers together with the team of service professionals, coordination of all stakeholders involved
  • Monitoring and analyzing competition and industry trends
  • Follow up all national and international market rules, regulations to mitigate all possible risks of loss.
  • Systematic follow-up of opportunities, negotiating and closing deals
  • Develops and implement creative ideas to minimize the importance of price and maximize the importance of product performance
  • Active participation in the Siemens community, and regular exchange with other Siemens units (Area Sales, KAM, Country Sales Managers, BUs, ...)
  • Customer visits
  • Develop Sales Pipeline and ensure efficient usage of sales tools (CRM) and deliver high quality forecast
  • Develop our partner strategy and ensure ramp-up of partner business
  • Adherence to internal process and guidelines

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • We look forward to meeting you if you hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum 6 years sales management experience in SCADA, DMS, EMS or Turnkey Solution projects
  • Excellent understanding of the energy distribution/transmission market and technologies, mainly in SCADA, IT/OT integration, digitalization with IoT solutions and cyber security
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills, with the ability to competently discuss complex technical issues with operations, engineering (software/hardware), and leadership teams
  • Experience in managing and developing key accounts, and strong networking skills
  • High degree of personal responsibility and reliability
  • Basic knowledge of commercial fundamentals
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and customer focused
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
  • Solid knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Existing network of contacts in distribution/transmission markets in Central Asia is a plus

·       Military service should be completed for male candidates or postponed more than 2 years.
