Then come and join our global team as Executive Associate (f/m/d) to the Head of Assurance to drive Assurance to the next level.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 25h/week.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will work directly with the Head of Assurance and the respective Assurance Leadership Team and your activities will span from leading high-profile assurance related internal projects to hands-on, content-driven supporting activities for the entire Assurance function (incl. Audit, Governance, Internal Control and Enterprise Risk Management teams) 
  • You will assume responsibility for projects where you create real impact for the Assurance function (e.g., Enhancement of Audit Methodologies, Quality Standards, Training Concepts, etc.)
  • You will independently prepare the groundwork for key decisions by conducting ad hoc research, providing analysis, and delivering insights to drive improvement opportunities (incl. Assurance KPIs monitoring)
  • You will plan and facilitate management meetings, strategic workshops and Assurance function related activities (incl. leading the quarterly reporting process of SHS Audit results to the managing board and supervisory board, managing the preparation of a risk driven Annual Audit Plan, development of the annual global learning/training week and team collaboration activities)

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a university degree in Business Administration, Finance/Controlling and/or Auditing
  • You have many years of professional experience at Siemens Healthineers, Siemens Group and/or in a related industry. Experience in an audit-related environment (Big4 or within an IIA certified Internal Audit department) or major Consulting firm is a plus
  • You also have strong project management expertise (incl. the Agile methodology) in a complex global organization
  • You have solid experience in communicating, aligning, and managing stakeholders across multiple levels, including executive leadership
  • You have a proven track record of showing outstanding performance and continuous career development

Your attributes and skills:

  • Your excellent communication skills enable you to execute your work and communicate fluently in English language and at eye level with different cultures, and management levels in an international environment. German language skills or a further language are a plus
  • Your ‘we win together’ mindset and your empathic, honest, and loyal communication style with strong decision-making ability lets you easily interact with different stakeholders and interfaces (including at Top Management level)
  • You ‘learn passionately”: It is important to you to constantly expand your own knowledge base and thus bring new impulses to your own colleagues and the entire organization
  • You are able to ‘step boldly’ due to your Digital DNA to drive changes regarding Digitalization of Assurance
  • You ‘own it’: your pro-active and self-driven personality enables you to work independently, and result orientated within a dynamic and cross functional environment with the ability to inspire others
  • It is easy for you to create convincing management presentations and communications
  • You have outstanding skills with respect to MS Office applications
