Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average of 60% of your working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will ensure high quality of accounting and reporting for all Ultrasound entities in EMEA according to the Siemens financial guidelines and respective legal requirements (i.e. HGB, IFRS, GAAP)
  • You will manage improvements of existing accounting processes
  • You will oversee all outsourced accounting transactions to Global Shared Services (e.g. in A/P or A/R accounting, in maintenance of the general ledger, account reconciliations, journal entries)
  • You will manage preparation of Ultrasound balance sheet, P&L reports and annual financial statements on a monthly & quarterly basis
  • You will approve manual journal entries prepared by Global Shared Services
  • You will drive the implementation of the S/4HANA ERP system in EMEA
  • You will drive ad-hoc legal entity accounting integration activities

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a degree in accounting and controlling or a relevant field (MBA is a plus)
  • You have many years of professional experience within accounting and controlling
  • You convince us with your applied experience and knowledge of IFRS
  • You have strong technical SAP knowledge and experience in FI-CO and CO-PA modules
  • You are experienced in working with the S/4 HANA ERP system
