Business Development Vertical Paper for Asia (上海/北京/南京)

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager for Vertical Paper in core Asia regions, the working location could be Nanjing/Shanghai/Beijing.

What are my responsibilities?

-Responsible for focused and structured Business Development for Vertical Paper in core Asian regions (CN, IN, IND, TH) for entire DI product and system business
-Responsible for market and business transparency (market potential, trends, eco-system (key end user, OEM, SI, Design Institute etc.), DI portfolio, key competitors, portfolio-fit etc.) for Vertical Paper in core Asian regions
Perform Vertical Target Agreements with respective regions (especially with CN; IN)
-Working out development strategies for new System Integrators and intensify the cooperation with existing System Integrators
-Establish a relationship of trust with all relevant stakeholder-levels at assigned accounts, C-Level, VP-Level (Production Technology, Factory Planning, Purchasing, Education etc.), Operative Level (Equipment Maintenance, Work preparation etc.) to increase confidence in Siemens DI portfolio  
-Serves sales organization and customers as an expert in product application with respect to the portfolio of all DI business Units
-Identifying, developing and tracking business opportunities and innovating consulting portfolio based on the information from the sales region
-Coordination Vertical Paper market activities in CN, IN, IND and TH with respective business units
-Close cooperation with Vertical Paper and the HQ’s of respective Business Units and acts as an interface into HQ for the assigned regional organizations

Required skill set:
-Strong technical or sales background with application know how in Paper Industry
-Teamwork across countries and cultures within all DI Business Units
-International and Intercultural sensitivity
-Readiness to bear responsibility in a global framework
-Entrepreneurial spirit
-Readiness to work with very heterogenous international customers and Siemens regions on an eye level
-Readiness to represent Siemens as a global company internally and externally
-Proficient English language skills

-a period of up to 4 years of regular study with a degree in bachelor/masters with focus on electrical engineering or similar education
-Few years experiences in regional sales / HQ sales positions or good experience in project business in process oriented industries.
