Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

  • You will manage the central department for global project execution in our "Mainline" unit (long-distance rail infrastructure).
  • You will manage c. 70 employees.
  • You will assume the global governance function for project execution.
  • Also, you will lead highly complex projects and carry out country roll-outs.
  • Ensuring that our projects are completed on time, on budget and on quality, you will continuously monitor the project progress and initiate countermeasures in case of deviations from the plan.
  • You will introduce state-of-the-art project management tools (e.g. BIM) and methods (e.g. agile).
  • In addition, will foster claim and change management.
  • You will drive the enablement of lead competence locations.

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate

  • You hold a university degree (master's degree / diploma) in a technical field.
  • Moreover, you have many years of professional experience in railroad signaling technology.
  • You have extensive practice in project management or related functions (e.g. R&D or system management).
  • Furthermore, you are characterized by a strategic way of thinking as well as several years of management experience and have already led larger teams.
  • You have an excellent command of the English language and are willing to travel (approx. 30%).
