Our Electrical Products business unit has developed COMPAS, a specialized Configure, Price & Quote (CPQ) platform, as a go-to market strategy. Our Configure, Price, Quote & Order management functionalities enable sales and channel team to quickly generate accurate quotes and price for simple and complex configured power distribution products, thereby enhancing operational efficiencies and eliminating quote and order errors.

What you will do:

We are looking for a committed, curious, and passionate leader who will serve as a Technical Product Manager for our COMPAS CPQ platform. The candidate will have the following responsibilities.

  1. Responsible for defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable COMPAS platform that meets our customer, sales, and business need.
  2. Ability to work cross functionally with a broad set of business partners, use keen business process understanding of MTO portfolio, appreciation for simplicity and quality.
  3. Owns the program vision, roadmap and features that meets business goals. Aligns with department head on funding for enhancements.
  4. Owns and effectively manages the Program Backlog and supports agile release train in delivering value through continuous delivery pipeline collaborating with delivery teams.
  5. Inspiring and influencing skills to drive prioritization, balance business and customer needs while maintaining the mission of COMPAS CPQ platform.
  6. Excel in making great trade-off decisions in balancing the needs of user experience, available business technology and meeting business need, while solving a customer problem.
  7. Collaborate with Process Optimization and System Architecture teams on detailing business requirements.
  8. Facilitate program increment planning and release management.
  9. Expert application of SAFe agile development methodology.

What you will need:

  1. A BS/MS degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent discipline.
  2. Should have 8+ years of make to order (MTO) manufacturing industry experience as a business or systems analyst role with a proven record of accomplishment of delivery.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  4. Experience leading cross-functional team and collaboration with groups across a large organization.
  5. Strong analytical thinking/problem-solving skills with attention to detail when creating and reviewing functional and technical designs and data/process flow diagrams.
  6. Excellent relationship management skills – negotiation, managing expectations, timely, appropriate, and consistent communications, conflict management.
  7. Experience working in a metrics-driven environment, utilizing data driven techniques and tools to ensure goals are established and met.
  8. Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts and considerations to different audiences including developers, business users, management, and executives.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to support internal and external contacts within a multi-cultural environment.

What will set you apart:

  1. Excellent understanding of Lead to Cash business process in an MTO/ETO business.
  2. Experience in developing business process and requirements for integrating CPQ with boundary systems such as CRM, CLM and ERP
  3. Working experience with SAFe methodology.
  4. Technical expertise on digitalization products, tools, and ecosystems.

Key Working Relationships:

This candidate will work closely with business stakeholders on the effective use of CPQ platform in the Lead-to-Cash process. The candidate will also work closely with system engineering team in detailing the solution that meets the economic business goals. Candidate will work with development team to ensure solutions are delivered in timely manner.
