What part will you play?
  • As part of our team, you will advise and support Siemens Real Estate in the digitalization challenges of the real estate environment. 
  • You transfer your extensive information technology knowledge combined with real estate knowledge to interdisciplinary teams and find competent and customer-oriented solutions to enhance digital operations in real estate.
  • You lead development of information technology strategy and formulation of directions, guiding principles, frameworks, focus topics/ priorities as well as major changes, objectives and values in accordance with the Siemens Real Estate strategy.
  • You make the organization aware of information technology strategy, desired business outcomes, targeted major changes, and its reasons.
  • You ensure understanding and strong collaboration by teams how they will supply to the success of the strategy and to the overall goals.
  • Digital consulting related of business operations in the context of real estate IT Hardware and Software.
  • You advice and develop appropriate digitization strategies for SRE and support the implementation of the digital operations concept
  • Digital consulting related to real estate (including real estate related IT architecture for hardware and software and, implementation support)
  • Project and quality management in the context of digital transformation of Siemens Real Estate:
    • developing and overseeing the digitalization budget;
    • planning, deploying and maintaining real estate IT systems and operations;
    • managing the organization's software development needs;
    • developing real estate IT policies, procedures and best practices
    • staying updated on IT trends and emerging technologies in the real estate sector;
    • developing and enforcing IT best practices across the organization;
    • ensuring IT strategies and processes to support company-wide goals;
    • overseeing relationships with vendors, contractors and service providers; and
    • explaining to the Siemens Real Estate Management the benefits and risks of new IT-related technology and projects.
  • Trigger, guide, consult and orchestrate IT strategy implementation – enforce relevant implementation support if vital.

What you need to make real what matters.
  • Master’s degree with focus on Digitalization and IT or similar degree
  • Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in large international IT organizations, experience in leading of large international transformation projects preferably in real estate related environments
  • Good understanding of IT landscape and business operations in Real Estate companies
  • Deep understanding and experience in development of strategy and driving its
  • implementation, preferably in complex/ federated organizational structures
  • Deep technical knowledge in key areas such as data analytics, AI, software development, system integration as well as cloud/edge
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills on all levels of the organization
  • In-depth knowledge of Business Engineering, Business Process Consulting, and IT service management standard methodologies and IT technologies employed
  • Experience in structured methodologies 
  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking, challenging existing processes and patterns, and a creative approach
  • Familiarity with budgeting and IT financials
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English and German
