What will you do?

  • Primary contact between the students and Siemens as the face of SCETA (Siemens Certified Education and Talent Academy)
  • Coordinate all aspects of recruitment, including screening applicants’ resumes, cover letters and transcripts, assessing pre-recorded and “live” video interviews, and keeping track of data in a concise excel spreadsheet
  • Present the SCETA program to different institutions across Canada including colleges, institutes, and universities, while engaging audiences and answering questions.
  • Support SCETA students by answering questions promptly, providing guidance, and organizes team building activities
  • Coordinate and connect students to SCETA alumni mentors
  • Organize and participate in onboarding events including leadership talks, training sessions, and activities
  • Liaise with human resources staff, hiring managers, and other teammates to address concerns and questions
  • Assist Project Co-ordinator in managing the student certification training activities
  • Contribute with new marketing ideas for the program and develop content for internal and external networks such as Yammer and LinkedIn
  • Maintain the documentation database and keep templates/forms/surveys updated
  • Other ad hoc projects and tasks as required

What will you need to succeed?

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a business, marketing, project management, HR, or related role
  • Competing or completed College Diploma or University Degree in a business, communications, or related area of study, at minimum
  • Willing to work remotely with occasional visits to the Siemens Canada Oakville Head Office (1577 North Service Rd E)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced working environment and is highly flexible
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and is a confident problem-solver
  • Strong character judgement, intuition, organization, and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
