Senior Service Sales Manager for Digitalization

Job Description

Target of the function: 

Performs sales-support activities with focus on Customer Base Analysis and identification of Digitalization-Business potential for Motion Control Services at assigned Regions.

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Perform sales support activities, focusing on Customer Base analysis, identification of Digi-business potential 
  • Drive and Manage the global D-SSS Community (Support, provide trainings, coordinate) in assigned Regions
  • Lead generation and opportunity management (DI1 – DI3)
  • Regional Digi-Target setting, regular monitoring, definition and implementation of actions & measures in assigned Regions
  • Define, select and communicate Prio1 Digi Portfolio to assigned Regions (based on regional market and customer analysis)
  • The Service Sales Manager for Digitalization is aligned with the relevant Service Sales Manager (on commonly assigned Regions) and both operate under the umbrella of the DI CS MC Sales Team
Close collaboration with: 
  • Sales Colleagues , Service Sales Specialists at assigned Regions, Digitalization Team, Analytics Team for I-Base evaluation, e.g. Business Excellence for I-Base evaluation and Regional Sales Colleagues
  • Technical competencies for motion control products & services
  • Familiar with following terms: ‘predictive services, industrial connectivity, industrial analytics, IT/OT landscape, industrial cloud’
  • Communication methodologies
  • Presentainment
  • Project Management
