What will you do?

This is a role in the Regional Services and Solutions (RSS) business of the Smart Infrastructure (SI) division of Siemens. Through this role, you will contribute to the Smart Building transformation of new and existing Buildings. This is a great opportunity with great impact!


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive business development activities to grow our Digital Solutions and Services offerings into new or existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic campaigns in support of the business development needs.
  • Participate in pre-sales engagement with strategic accounts and engages in ‘Thought Leadership’ activities to create growth in market.
  • Provide hands on expert knowledge and assistance to allow the Sales / Account Executives to respond to qualified opportunities in a timely and knowledgeable manner.
  • Delivering training and workshops to our field organization to build their 'Digital' expertise to attract new clients and grow existing clients.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of presentations and workshops to key decision makers detailing the value of the solution to their business.
  • Allow the organization to increase its visibility and attain a leadership position for Digital Solutions and Services and Smart Buildings as a whole.
  • Foster a team environment with the broader sales force, sales leaders and operations colleagues nationwide to achieve assigned business goals and deliver our customer commitments.
  • Consolidate feedback from Customers, Sales and Operations to help drive Portfolio offerings.

Location: GTA or Ottawa ON office is the preferred office location, however, the successful candidate may be based out of our Calgary office.


What will you need to succeed?

  • 5+ years of experience in related field is essential
  • Bachelor of Engineer or Technical diploma
  • Strong knowledge of Building Systems, Smart Buildings, Software and Software sales
  • Account Management / Business Development Experience with large customer accounts
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and manage the dynamics of a complex and global organization.
  • Proven track record in leveraging change management techniques to obtain buy-in and realize results.
  • Strong collaboration, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
  • Travel: 20%

Assets:

  • Bilingual (English / French) communication skills
