How can you help us craft the future as a Production Operator?

We are looking for dedicated people with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow by joining our manufacturing team as a Production Operator. You will perform diverse assembly of mechanical, electronic and electro-mechanical products to prescribed quality and production standards and in accordance with ISO procedures!

What are the responsibilities?

  •  Manufactures products using visual aids, wiring lists, blueprints, and written and verbal work instructions and procedures.
  • Uses hand, pneumatic and power tools, small to large machinery, material handling equipment and computer run equipment in the performance of the job
  • Moves parts and materials as needed to maintain an orderly material flow.
  • Conducts quality inspections consistently throughout the assembly process using testing and visual inspections 
  • Rotates between operations within a work cell as well as between work cells and departments.  Prepares work cell and/or department records.
  • Uses manufacturing system to replenish components, check component availability, look of BOM’s and routings, report production, troubleshoot transactions, analyze capacity and investigate process improvements.
  • Uses specific support software tools for tasks such as labor analysis, data gathering, cell status board (CSB), data analysis and graphing.
  • Notifies appropriate personnel if process/method is out of compliance.
  • Performs simple to complex setup and adjustments to products, equipment and processes.


What knowledge/skills, education, and experience is required for this position?

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, pull or a combination of all movement types as required by and for the duration of the job assignment.
  • Manual dexterity with capability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, wrenches, etc.), electric and pneumatic power tools and in-house developed product specific tooling/fixtures.
  • Ability to comprehend both written and spoken English language for purpose of understanding training/direction and to interpret assembly, test and equipment documentation.
  • Must be able to work from visual aids, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, ISO work instruction and test documentation.
  • Ability to make assembly decisions based on results of previous operations
  • Ability to perform adjustments and above average care in the assembly of products. Must be able to work with a high level of concentration to ensure accuracy of work
  • Must be able to follow complex documentation to produce product
  • Ability to perform advance rework and repair involving troubleshooting and complex recovery steps
  • Ability to function and contribute in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and transfer 25 lbs. and normal strength requirements
  • Ability to recognize and analyze non-conforming support processes (i.e. metric measurement, ERP processes and administrative processes, etc) and implements corrective actions.
  • Trained or certified in specific advanced skills such as welding, high voltage circuit wiring, machine or process troubleshooting, etc.
  • Possess extensive hands on experience in building a variety of products or processes and uses this experience in support of assignments pertaining to the analysis of specific work area practical capacity, quality, and cost issues and improvement opportunities.
