About the Role

Are you an expert in selling SaaS and developing SaaS business in complex multinational environments? Does communicating value over functionality come naturally to you? 

You will be working in a highly customer-facing leadership role developing new business within an established organization, generating visible growth

This position can be located in Zug 


Specifically, you will:

  • Lead a high performance team of Regional SaaS Sales and Global Business Developers
  • Be responsible for and monitor the pipeline of opportunities for Digital Buildings SaaS Software across different sales channels including ecosystem
  • Drive some of these opportunities end-to-end, from lead generation to close, winning 1st deployments and expansion deals to grow the share of wallet
  • Develop a strategy to grow market share, based on an “addressable market” that you will create and maintain
  • Support sales efforts to win large projects that include Digital Buildings SaaS portfolio, across all channels
  • Maximise customer impact through Challenger mindset and close collaboration with product and delivery teams
  • Become a thought leader in smart buildings: evangelize internally and externally to ensure visibility of offerings and “expert partner” status with customers

 The essential skills that we need in this role 

  • Be an experienced leader and are used to effectively leading global teams in complex and unchartered business domains, inspiring the team to achieve their best performance
  • Have a proven track record in SaaS Sales and relevant Business Development
  • Several years of experience in a similar role and Business environments
  • Working knowledge of Building Portfolio and/or systems in building automation, energy management, safety and security
  • Broad experience in Siemens sales channels to effectively address the market
  • Deep experience in the APAC market
  • Be a hunter with the ability to build, negotiate and close large SaaS deals with complex global organizations
  • Be able to master the fundamentals of IT, digitalization & cloud, including basics of cyber security and data protection
  • Be a driven individual, you offer a convincing personality with a high level of dedication and resilience
  • Be an expert in identifying and developing customer value – translating functionality into C-level value propositions and positive business outcomes for customers.
  • Your knowledge of sales processes and methodologies teamed with creativity in lead generation helps you to transform market opportunities into concrete outcomes, including the efficient use of CRM tools
  • An effective communicator and your ability in bringing people together around a vision is instrumental for your success
  • Fluency in English

  • Experience in managing and upselling large Enterprise accounts
  • Experience and interest in public speaking at conferences
  • Other languages would be a great advantage
