Job Description

Siemens Healthineers is looking for a skilled and dedicated Managed Equipment Service Manager to join our inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time MES Manager role is based in London and offers an attractive salary and benefits package.

As an MES Manager, you will work within the on-site Siemens team delivering a range of medical engineering services in line with the Managed Equipment Service (MES) contract. This position requires the provision of a market-premier Managed Equipment Service per contractual terms and conditions, the needs of the customer and Siemens’ core values.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

·   Manage the planned maintenance and reactive repair activity to fulfil the performance criteria defined in the service contract successfully

·   Ensure compliance, quality and H&S standards are maintained in line with the company, MHRA and NHS requirements

·   Maintain effective management control of staff and subcontractors to ensure maximum utilisation of the available resources

·   Oversee the procurement process, ensuring that all contracts, services, equipment and spares purchases comply with company standards and policies and are within the budget

Requirements:

·   Degree or HNC/D in medical engineering and 3 years of post-qualification work experience within an engineering environment; or

·   Hospital experience using or maintaining medical imaging equipment; or

·   Experience in managing a service operation, preferably within a medical equipment or hospital environment; or

·   Experience in managing projects, particularly those relating to installing and commissioning equipment and facilities
