End Customer Manager (w/m/d) Intralogistics

As Account Manager (m/f/d) you will be part of a cross-organisational team that has the goal to develop new business opportunities for Siemens with end users in intralogistics in order to lead them in joint efforts together to success.

For this, we are looking for someone who has experience in the industry and is curious and creative to break new ground, "create something new" and thus generate impact.

Your new department:
  • You will analyze and define end customers for account development, incl. potential, opportunities, eco system etc.
  • You will define the required task force / stakeholders for the defined end customer accounts and drive opportunity development
  • As Account development manager activity-based planning incl. potential, strategy, strategic actions, relationship matrix & development, eco system etc. and conducting customer visits are part of your scope of duties
  • You are responsible for storytelling and defining outstanding talking points (e. g. sales slides end customer approach)
  • You increase the awareness, lead generation and new contacts (e.g. Internet, SoMe, events & fairs, industry congresses)
What you need to make real what matters.
  • Commercial university degree, e.g. Economics, Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Relevant industry experience in Intralogistics, ideally from former operations at an end-customer or sales / engineering at a systems integrator
  • Knowledge of processes in automated warehouses (ideally both in industry logistics and distribution logistics)
  • Application knowledge in automated material handling systems and / or in related SW systems, i.e. material flow simulation, cloud/edge architecture and ideally WCS / WMS SW
  • Project Management skills
  • Curiosity to create something "new" and make it a success
  • Challenger sales skills incl. professional presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Networking skills
  • Willingness for international travelling
  • Analytic thinking and structured working
  • Fluent German and English language skills
