Then come and join our global team as a Customer Service Engineer in our laboratory diagnostics team based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Team Leader for laboratory diagnostics in QLD, the primary function of your role will be to carry out day to day service, maintenance and/or installation activities on Laboratory Diagnostics Instruments in the fields of Immunoassay, Chemistry, and Automation with minimal supervision ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction, quality and safety standards.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You fulfil the customer's needs for Preventative Maintenance, any updates/upgrades, corrective service, installations and/or workshop repairs in accordance with business contractual obligations (contract obligations or billing policy)
  • You complete service activity reporting in a timely manner, coordinate activities with the Healthineers call center and communicate status to the account management team.
  • You comply with all Healthineers Environment, Health & Safety policies. Customer service is your priority with escalation procedures & 2nd level support implemented to decrease system downtime.
  • You maintain personal knowledge of safety instructions and operational procedures and participate in training courses including 'self learning', computer based and 'on the job' training

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Experience with Laboratory Diagnostics is preferred
  • Ideally hold a current electrical license

  • You have a strong ability to build sound working relationships internally and externally
