Associate Solution Partner, Digital Transformation Infrastructure
(Smart Buildings & Campuses, Districts / Services), Middle East  –Siemens Advanta 
 

In your new role as Associate Solutions Partner Middle East in the infrastructure sector (especially focused on the built environment, new build and its related services) you will develop and sell direct and indirect engagements to customers in Middle East. You will be working closely with Advanta’s Solution Partner for Buildings, Campuses and Districts across EMEA and as part of the Siemens Advanta Middle East Team and steer a virtual team across all of Siemens Advanta to identify, qualify, develop and close large opportunities in the discipline of IOT Solutions, Data Analytics, Software Development and System Integration.
 
You will create and sell value driven solutions that address our customer business problems adopting IOT Solutions & services to help clients transforming their business and addressing current challenges in the smart infrastructure sector in, like Decarbonization, Circular Economy and Operations Optimization. 

Based on your hunting skills you will drive revenue growth, leveraging all of Advanta (Consulting & Solutions) and Siemens Smart Infrastructure as well as our ecosystem partners.

The range of engagements is Sales focused,  from designing and selling custom Advisory, Software Development and System Integration bundled in value driven solutions and use cases in order to connected siloed organizations, assets and businesses to create an intelligent ecosystem to unlock the power of data driven innovation and business improvements.
 
How will you unlock sustainable digital value of our customers?
  • Sales for IT / IOT Solutions in the infrastructure area addressing pressing needs like NetZero Circular Economy, IT/OT conversion, Asset Portfolio Optimization and high-tech infusion, leveraging Advanta’s vertical and horizontal and SMEs in advisory, system integration, SW development, analytical and cloud capabilities.   
  • You evaluate industry vertical needs, market, competitive and financial data to derive actionable insights creating use cases for clients
  • You are responsible to create final customer proposals, leading negotiation until project closure.   
  • You drive the facilitation of workshops (e.g. design thinking and solution design) with internal and external stakeholders to create the solution to sell
  • You are accountable driving the customer journey, defining a solution scope, setting up the bid and onboarding external partners to complement IOT solution
  • Create specific value propositions towards our customers while taking Advanta and partner capabilities in consideration as well as the required value selling approach and competitor differentiation.
  • In collaboration with Siemens Smart Infrastructure, you support the development and implementation of new services and solutions for a winning IoT offering
  • You think beyond traditional measures of value ($) and develop customer specific value props incl. time, quality and other KPIs  
  • You foster co-ordination in the global organization an act as role model for Siemens Advanta values: Dare to Dream, Love our Customers, Team Wins, Enjoy the Ride.
 
Use your skills to move the world forward.   
  • 8+ years of experience in IOT solution sales, Cloud Services & Architecture, systems integration, software development and/or professional services organizations with a background in IT & IOT
  • Track record of closing Solution Sales or successfully implementing digital transformation initiatives, ideally in the real estate, environmental companies, smart city and or construction environment (from BMS to Facility Management Services to Asset Portfolio Management)
  • Industry expertise in 'Smart' Infrastructure and understanding of their customer journey: Anticipating what digital transformation means for our customers and proactively developing solutions together with the partners in the ecosystem.
  • Ability to understand and articulate both sides of the medal, i.e. industry challenges and potential business value as well as IOT, Cloud and technological solutions 
  • Ability to present at C-level or board level and also build informal professional networks and relationships across all seniority levels. 
  • Holistic thinking, negotiation and interpersonal skills needed to develop and sell end-to-end solutions with support of heterogeneous teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive enable you to innovate
  • Understanding and experience in consultative projects, cloud solutions and technology stack including IoT architecture, edge devices, IT, OT and AI
  • Bridge the gap between the customer need and the technical feasibility
  • Holistic understanding how a vertical system integration will meet the horizontal value chain
  • Ideally with a master degree in engineering, ICT,  economics or a similar education
  • Fluent in English and other languages adds to the fabric of our team
