Position Overview  

Siemens Smart Infrastructure has an exciting opportunity for a growth oriented, strategic and innovative mind with joy in developing value propositions and Go to Market strategies for joining their Digital Building Strategic Marketing Team

We are looking for a highly motivated Strategic Go to Market Expert with Cloud Product Offering background, to develop value propositions, Go to Market strategies, drive competitor’s assessments and validate growth potential for Cloud offerings

Location:   This position will be in Zug 

 

The Role 

You will focus on the creation of value propositions, persona analysis and Go to Market strategies for Cloud offerings in the Digital Buildings industry, targeting customers across several key verticals, channels and geographies, in close collaboration with Product Management

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Analyze market, industry and technology trends as well as competitor landscape
  • Recommend actionable Go to Market and market positioning strategies based on market insights and research data
  • Create actionable competitor analysis and derive product as well as pricing strategies
  • Develop and implement new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position Cloud offerings in the digital building area in alignment with Siemens Xcelerator and Building X
  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to understand, shape and develop strategic partnership activities
  • Develop value propositions for Cloud offerings in the digital building industry such as SaaS and PaaS
  • Contribute to the overall development of the Siemens Xcelerator Ecosystem
  • You will report to Head of Strategic Marketing of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Digital Buildings and interact with the leadership team as well as the global product and sales team


Your Profile  

  • Bachelor's degree(s) or equivalent experience in a business field, ideally Digital Business
  • The perfect candidate has 4+ years of practical experience
  • MBA is a plus
  • Experience in Strategic Marketing or Business Development, Market & Customer segmentation is required
  • Cloud Product Offering experience
  • Experience in strategic competitor research, customer, persona and user research, working with a customer centric mindset is required
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to gather and draw conclusions from customer and competitor data, market trends and market developments
  • Knowledge about the regulatory landscape for digital offerings incl. how to transform them into value propositions and Go to Market strategies
  • Skills in analyzing the impact of Go to Market activities by measuring return on marketing investment
  • Experience in the Digital Building market and related competitor landscape is a plus
  • Track record of delivering business results as an outcome of identifying market opportunities and implementing related strategies and business plans
  • Fluent in English
  • German language skills spoken and written is a big plus
