In your role you build and lead an integrated communications team for the Management Board Member People and Organization and Sustainability.

What part will you play?
  • In your role you build and lead an integrated communications team for the Management Board Member People and Organization and Sustainability.
  • By doing that you act as a global corporate media spokesperson for the CPSO and the topics towards global media, including development of media relations activities, strategy and accompanying the CPSO during media engagements.
  • Furthermore, you develop communications strategy, topic architecture, annual/ quarterly plan and performance measurement (KPIs) together with the CPSO and her leadership team.
  • Leading the team of communications professionals supporting the external and internal P&O CPSO related communications (letters, videos, etc.) is also part of your task area.
  • You represent the main interface to chief of staff CPSO and her team.
  • Additionally, you are responsible for strategic positioning planning of the CPSO and CSO.
  • Allocating resources and skills needed with in the team is also within your range of duties.
  • You are a member of the CM ME leadership team, working with the head of CM ME on strategic positioning and implementation of media relations and thought leadership.
  • Aligning with other senior leaders within Communications and relevant functions, especially P&O and sustainability rounds off your task profile.
What you need to make real what matters.
  • The basis of your success is 10+ years communications experience across various comms functions, especially external communications and media relations, executive communications, thought leadership.
  • You consider yourself as Senior Communications Professional with experience in counseling and supporting Board Members of global companies as well as team leadership experience. 
  • Additionally, you have strong writing and language skills, especially in English; You are fluent in English and German.
  • A global mindset with multi-stakeholder orientation distinguishes you.
  • You show an integrative and team-oriented collaboration style.
  • Furthermore, you have a proven national and international media and journalist network and spokesperson experience as well as a deep understanding of media landscape and practices.
  • A Creative, pro-active approach with change and transformation management experience characterizes you.
  • You are stress-resistant, well-organized and precise.
  • You follow a digital and data driven approach.
  • Crisis and issues management experience rounds off your profile.
