At Siemens Mobility, we understand that the key to success in the signaling industry is efficient collaboration. To that end, we are looking for an experienced BIM Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the BIM processes and software, as well as experience working on construction/signaling projects. We expect from this person to be responsible for managing the use cases and deliverables related to the BIM methodology on the project. The BIM Manager will also be responsible for developing project-specific BIM documentation as well as contributing during the tender phase on new opportunities. 

Description
- Defines the objectives and use cases applied to the project.
- Develops and maintain project-specific BIM documentation such as the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Manages the BIM delivery plan as well as the MIDP.
- Validates the Level of Information (LOIN) specified for the BIM deliverables.
- Performs quality review of BIM deliverables prior to delivery.
- Periodically audits deliverables to ensure compliance with BIM requirements ensuring proper compliance with both BIM standards and BIM templates.
- Ensures that construction models are properly updated with information from Installation, Testing and Commissioning phases.
- Defines and ensure compliance with coordination and collaboration workflows between different internal and external teams
- Ensures compliance with the standards defined according to ISO 19650 for project information management.
- Identifies and recommend improvement opportunities for processes and workflows based on BIM work methodology.
- Plans and supervises training related to BIM methodology.
- Transfers information generated during the life of the project to the BIM model.
- Coordinates with the Project Manager the BIM strategy to be carried out on the project.
- Coordinates with the Project Manager the implementation status of the activities as well as the different deliverables.
- Monitors the budget adherence and may take actions to minimize non-conformance costs.
- Leads and coordinates the BIM project team.
- Enforce the use of the CDE on the project as the document management tool.
- Collaborate during tender phase understanding costumer BIM requirements.

Skills required
- Bachelor/Master in a technical area related to construction or infrastructures.
- Desirable Master in BIM Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as BIM Manager on projects.
- Familiarity with  BIM modelling processes.
- Familiarity with Autodesk and Bentley SW ecosystem (Revit, Navisworks, Recap, Autocad, Microstation, OpenRail Designer, iModel, Synchro Pro).
- Excellent IT skills.
- Great verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Extensive knowledge of quality and document management processes.
- Being familiar with the ISO19650 and related digitalization standards.
