Your Challenge

The candidate will ensure leadership, implementation of, and alignment to policies, processes and methods for customer related service activities (technically and/or commercially), for the Digital Buildings Business Segment globally

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Develops, aligns and implements customer support strategy and guidelines, and develops/defines functional specific policies, processes and/or methods for the business organization from a commercial and a technical point of view.
  • Ensures obeying regional laws and regulations, while ensuring cloud based service level agreements for (transnational) customers
  • Ensures a proficient and capable global Service workforce to conduct required service tasks in time and quality.
  • Provides the vital work environment, tools and processes to successfully deliver cloud services to customers, in close alignment with the existing customer support organization for hardware, on premise software and systems in general
  • Acts as customer concern instance for resolving issues with service delivery and internal units.
  • Manages organization unit(s) assigned, and leads and/or coordinates dedicated management and staff.
  • Builds up capabilities and competencies for onboarding and remote engineering, incl presales proficiencies supporting the aspired API economy activities
What you need to bring with you

You should already have significant operational experience in Cloud Operations with:

  • Willingness to grow and learn new capabilities and technologies
  • proven ability in leading teams, especially in SaaS environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, major of software engineering is beneficial
  • Basic project management knowledge and Experience in customer relationship management in a service context
  • Listening, understanding and co-thinking skills about technical challenges from the customer perspective and capacity to translate customer requests into technical requirements and/or clarifications in collaboration with the respective organization.
  • Ambition and urge for developing technology and ethical guardrails in line with Siemens values
  • Be a role model for openness and inclusiveness as a non-negotiable cultural element
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment and effective collaboration in networks across businesses and functions
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • European Work Permit
