Customer Service Sales Support - Specialist Engineer

Position Overview

Siemens Large Drives is looking for a Technical Engineer that will support the Customer Service Sales Support Team. You will work to support the Medium Voltage Drive Customer Service team and our customers. The select candidate will provide technical support to the proposal team and other CS functions. This role will report to the New Kensington Sales Support Manager and will be a vital part of supporting the Siemens Large Drives LLC customers.

  • Provide technical engineering support for MV Drive Customer Service Proposal Activities
  • Determine Spare Parts lists, technical data, and technical support when vital
  • Collaborate with various technical resources with Siemens, customers and vendors.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Proficiency working in an Engineering support role
  • Validated customer support experience
  • Customer focused with the ability to adapt/respond to different customer needs
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time optimally
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • <10% travel based on customer requested meetings and support
Preferred Knowledge/Skills and Experience
  • 2+ years field service engineering
  • 2+ service years sales quote development
  • 2+ years electrical engineering
  • Variable frequency drives experience
  • Teamcenter experience
