Then come and join our global team as a Production Process Developer (f/m/d), Technology, to create the basis, working as part of a cross-functional team, for the safe and reliable application of our sophisticated process technologies in the manufacture of X-ray sources and generators.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible, within a cross-functional team, for the development of technologically sophisticated future production processes in the vacuum systems, fastening systems, process engineering and power electronics fields
  • You will describe the process route and then model and simulate the process to ascertain the key interdependencies affecting process parameters and other factors
  • You will test prototypes to identify and confirm the key interdependencies and process capabilities
  • You will specify the equipment for use in series production and ensure support for our equipment life cycle management with the manufacture and/or external sourcing and acceptance of production equipment, as part of which responsibility you will define the optimal level of automation for the process concerned
  • You will use external alliances, for example with the university sector or external technology partners/service providers
  • You will support our external partners/suppliers with methodological matters in relation to the development, analysis and optimization of your production processes where necessary

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a degree (at Bachelor or Master level) in a technical field or the natural sciences
  • You have several years of professional experience in process development, in industrialization or in the development of technologically sophisticated products, ideally in a highly regulated environment such as medical systems
  • You have a thorough knowledge of materials science, mechatronics or related areas of engineering; expertise with plain bearings, vacuum processes and the microstructure of refractory metals would be ideal
  • This knowledge encompasses both the description and simulation of processes using models and experimental implementation in the laboratory and the production environment
  • You are familiar with structured problem-solving methods and statistical process analysis
