Then come and join our global team as Senior Security and System Engineer (f/m/d) for Cloud Platform and Applications to further drive our teamplay digital health platform and SaaS applications for healthcare.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will work closely and collaboratively with our product managers, software architects and software development teams to define the goals and overall strategic direction for our cybersecurity initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for the cybersecurity strategy for our cloud and edge products and work hand-in-hand with all teams throughout the product lifecycle to execute our strategy
  • You will be responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of security policies and procedures
  • You will advise the teams on security issues and support them with regular regulatory security assessments and audits
  • You will be responsible for the security of our cloud-based CI/CD and test automation infrastructure as well as our security tool landscape. 
  • As a member of system engineering initiatives, you will ensure a rapid response to security incidents
  • You will promote our "Privacy by Design and Default" mentality within the teams

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a university degree in computer science, engineering or a related field 
  • You have many years of professional experience in software development projects, especially in the areas of cyber security, systems engineering, software design and architecture, particularly in large software projects
  • You have in-depth expertise and experience in the field of cyber security. You also have very good knowledge in the areas of secure architecture, design, implementation, testing and deployment. A relevant security certification is desirable
  • You have implemented successful security strategies from start to finish 
  • You have proven experience in security hardening of cloud-based SaaS products. 
  • You are highly experienced in the following programming languages and technologies:  ASP.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, PowerShell, Bash Scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, SQL and NoSQL databases, Rest-full APIs, Microsoft Azure DevOps, SQL and NoSQL databases, Rest-full APIs, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect, Microsoft Azure DevOps, GIT
  • You are very familiar with modern project management and software development methodologies (LEAN, Modern Agile, Kanban, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Site Reliable Engineering, TDD and BDD)
  • You have demonstrated systems thinking in large software projects
  • You are familiar with state-of-the-art frameworks and tools for software quality, testing and security (Azure DevOps, BDD Tooling SpecFlow & SpecSync, SonarQube, WhiteSource, ZeroNorth, SW360,
  • You have extensive experience with security audits and data protection such as ISO27001 and EuroPriSe

Your attributes and skills:

  • You have excellent written, verbal, virtual and live communication skills in English
  • You have a proven ability to interact with interdisciplinary and international teams and bring a willingness to travel internationally on business (<5%)
