Siemens EDA has an opportunity for a Technical Marketing Engineer – Associate, to be part of a marketing team working with PowerPro customers and development teams. The team works on multiple areas of product delivery including product requirement definition, product training, go-to-market strategy, and deep technical assistance of the sales organization.

This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program. Through this program, you will receive 12 months of technical and non-technical training, mentorship from Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving software challenges in the area of electronic design automation.

Our software tools span the full breadth of semiconductor and electrical systems solutions including integrated circuit design and verification, PCB design & manufacturing solutions, cable harness design tools, and embedded software.

Responsibilities
We are a small, multi-disciplinary marketing team responsible for defining, and driving marketing, sales, deployment and technical support of the PowerPro Product line. Our RTL and gate-level power estimation and optimization technology is used at numerous companies around the world, creating leading-edge low power digital ASICs.

This role assists our developers enhancing software tool features and capabilities for end customers. Provide technical guidance to customer engineers in the application of design techniques and system procedures related to computer-aided engineering software. Works with close Supervision. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Technical degree (minimum BS) in Electrical/Electronic, Computer Science/Engineering
• Proficiency in RTL (VHDL or Verilog) design
• Understanding of ASIC Digital (RTL) Verification process
• Competence with Microsoft PowerPoint & Word
• Self-motivated and able to work constructively and productively on a team, as well as independently and remotely
• Ability to travel nationally, and internationally with some regularity

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Experience of ASIC RTL synthesis tools (Design Compiler, Genus, Oasys)
• Experience of RTL simulation tools (Questa, VCS, Xcelium)
• Experience with High-Level Synthesis would be an additional plus

The salary range for this position is $30.96/hr to $55.72/hr and this role is eligible to earn another 3-5% in variable pay. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. If you reside in the Bay Area the salary range for this position is $38.31/hr to $68.99/hr and this role is eligible to earn another 3% in variable pay.
