For our Smart Infrastructure - Electrification and Automation Business Unit, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager who will be in charge for Distribution Companies, Panel Builders, OEMs and Electrical Contractor Sales Channel.

What part will you play?

In this role, you will be part of Siemens Electrification and Automation sales team, you will be driving our sales activities in and maximizing our revenue from your assigned accounts. You are the entrepreneurial owner and developer of structured Go-to-Market approach targeting our customers. Creating loyal customers, generate growth, and maximize return on investment in alignment with our overall strategy is the base for your and our success.

This role requires technical knowledge across the entire product spectrum of EA (mainly Protection Relays, RTUs, Power Quality Devices, Fault Indicators and Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers) as you are ultimately responsible for being technical and commercial face of the offers and closing the deal at Distribution Companies, Panel Builders, OEMs and Electrical Contractors.

What are my responsibilities?

Planning, coordinating, and controlling all sales activities for assigned accounts.

Facilitate long term holistic strategy for customer retention to leverage future opportunities and growth.

Systematic follow-up of opportunities, negotiating and closing deals and make sure order income target set is reached with expected EBIT and cash flow.

Preparation and management of offer in sales. Complete understanding of customer requirements and preparing of suitable offers.

Customer Acquisition Activities.

Develop Sales Pipeline and ensure efficient usage of sales tools (CRM) and deliver high quality forecast.

Market research and finding potential opportunities within the assigned sector and create market transparency.

Acquisition of new customers. Analytical processing of market and customer data for sales initiatives, proactive tracking of leads, qualification of customers.

Monitoring and analyzing competition and sectoral/industrial trends.

Follow up all national and international laws, market rules, regulations to mitigate all possible risks of loss.

Customer support & product presentations to develop and implement creative ideas to minimize the importance of price and maximize the importance of product performance.

Won opportunities handover to order execution team in a process.

Active participation and regular exchange in the Siemens community.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years sales management experience in protection & automation field.
  • Fluent English both written and spoken.
  • Advanced in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent understanding of the energy distribution market and technologies, mainly in Protection Relays, RTUs, Power Quality Devices, Fault Indicators and Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers.

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer-facing & presentation skills, with the ability to competently discuss. complex technical issues with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
  • Experience in managing and developing key accounts, and strong networking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial fundamentals and contractual experience.
  • High degree of personal responsibility and reliability.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and customer focused.
