The LDA business is headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany, and conducts global sustainable business with around 48 legal entities worldwide in the field of oil, gas, and minerals.

What part will you play?

We are looking for a Compliance Expert in compliance and data privacy processes to support the LDA business. This role will preferably be based in Erlangen/Nuremberg and report to the Global LDA Compliance Officer. 

In this role, you will, together with LDA Compliance Officers team and Data Privacy Officer, be responsible for developing and establishing the LDA compliance and data privacy processes worldwide in the fields of anti-corruption, anti-trust, AML (anti-money laundering), ethics and business partners.
  • In this position you support for the adaptation and continued implementation of the companies’ compliance system within LDA; especially in the fields of anti-corruption, AML, anti-trust, data privacy and ethics
  • You act as expert to the Compliance Officer and all relevant stakeholders regarding compliance related topics based on the company business conduct guidelines
  • You “walk the talk” and promote a compliance and integrity culture
  • Additionally, you support the assessment of compliance risks in the fields of anti-corruption, AML, anti-trust, data privacy and ethics for the specific business risk areas
  • Together with the Compliance Officers and Data Privacy Officer you define and implement training activities 
  • You monitor the implementation of mitigation measures of risk assessments with your stakeholders 
  • Defining a system of due diligences together with the Global Compliance Officer and conducting due diligences independently is also part of this position
  • You participate in the implementation of compliance and data privacy processes and tools based on content of external and internal regulations
What you need to make real what matters.
  • The basis for your success is a master's degree in business administration, engineering or law
  • You have already gained first working experience in compliance, project management, accounting and/ or an operative business function
  • You are passionate in digitization and digitalization
  • Strong intercultural sensitivity, effective collaboration skills and ability to work with teams and stakeholders around the globe make you a good candidate
  • You have a high level of commitment, the ability to cooperate and work in a team as well as an independent way of working
  • The ability to be a trusted partner of stakeholders and a growth mindset characterize you
  • Fluent German and English language skills round off your profile, whereby any other languages are a plus
