The projects will cover a wide range of facilities areas and systems, including small building works, heating and cooling systems, fire systems, security systems and utilities electricity, compressed air and water.

In your first few weeks in this facilities project engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Co-ordinate the capital projects for the facilities department, prepare justifications for new project approvals and track projects for timing, quality, and cost
  • Take responsibility for a number of facilities capital projects from concept through to completion
  • Work with soft service suppliers as required to develop and improve their provision to Siemens Healthineers, cleaning, waste, security and catering

To apply for this facilities project engineer role, you will need experience running multiple projects ranging in scale and duration. You will also require the following:

  • Experience maintaining and improving a wide range of building and utility systems
  • Knowledge of some of the following systems would be expected - minor building works, general modifications to production and office environments, heating and cooling systems, electrical and compressed air installations
  • Proven experience managing contractors on site ensuring a safe working environment
