SSME CS Manager of Education and Workforce Solutions AP DI&AT

Job Description

Summary:
Lead, manage, challenge, and coach organization in Asia Pacific region in developing and growing education and workforce Business for both customers and employees. Guide and support our customers, country sales and service organizations with Education offerings, infrastructure, tools and operational efficiency.  

Tasks:
Drive implementation of  global Education strategy and initiatives across  the region, guide and support country and zone DI/AT teams
• Expand Education portfolio, cover new markets and technologies beyond our existing portfolio in order to constantly increase Education and Workforce Solution revenue
• Plan and delivery Employee education for appr. 400 Apps and 1250 CSEs with appr. 15 000 participant days with excellent quality
• Define and provide regional Customer Education offerings leveraging Education Center facilities,  equipment and clinical collaborations
• Ensure operational efficiency and transparency
• Responsible for major Education KPIs in DI & AT across the region 

Dimension of Function/Volume:
APJ & CHN region with with 27 countries (14 with local presence)
• Customer and Employee education
• Clinical and Technical education
• DI, AT Business Areas
• Directly manage appr. 25 Specialists and trainers in 4 modality teams

Requirements:
Professional experience in product- and service business in Imaging, Advanced Therapies or Ultrasound is essential. Business development experience is important for understanding customer needs and deriving matching solutions. 

Leadership experience > 3 years is required. The job requires a high degree of influencing, convincing and change management. This includes leadership of direct reports and guiding / motivating non-direct reports within a matrix organization for managers, employees and teams located in various locations within the region.

Since this job includes diverse countries and people with all different kind of cultural and regional background, experience of working with different cultures and working in multi-cultural teams is very important

Solid understanding of service processes and their relations to other key sales and logistics processes and ability to drive the service business based on the supporting processes.

English proficieny (written and oral), Chinese is an advantage
