In our project management team in Shanghai, you will meet a team of project managers and experts who are responsible for the planning and realization of all office and production properties of Siemens in China.
As internal service provider, we have a holistic responsibility over costs, timelines, quality, organization, and safety, from the first feasibility study until the handover to end users and beyond till the end of the warranty.
What will you do if join us?
• Self-responsible Management of construction projects of industrial factories and office buildings (size up to 90.000m²) from initiation, planning, execution, to close-out with providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality, sustainability and EHS standards, to ensure completion within schedule and budget, in accordance with the companies’ standards, policies and procedures
• Leading a project team of internal experts and external partners, communicate with stakeholders and work with supporting functions to develop project agreements with scope of work, schedules, and budgets as well as to lead the preparation of project specific investment applications.
Conduct project board and steering committee meetings to review the project status with the business and function leaders, lead weekly meetings and any other communication required to manage a project successfully
• drive digitalization forward, find and integrate new technologies and materials
Who are we looking for?
• a degree holder in Civil/ Structural Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
• experienced project manager with at least 3 successful completed Industrial Projects involving the overall project phases of greenfield and brown field industrial/ office building projects and demonstrated experience in leading multiple projects through various phases
• Knowledge in project programming, schedule planning & budget tracking, QA/ QC, EHS management and integration of sustainability, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digitalization
• Demonstrated team leader experience, ideally in a multi-cultural environment
• Fluent in English and Mandarin language skills, oral and written. Willing to travel within China. If needed within Asia.
