Baseline Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student in Computer Science
  • Available to work full-time in summer 2023
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

IT Application Developer Intern As part of our IT Software Product Support organization, you will become immersed in our software development effort. The team provides an enterprise platform for Product Development and Support operations within Siemens Digital Industries Software. The IT Application Developer intern will:
  • Assist and participate in application development and maintenance.
  • Assist in database administration and quality testing tasks.
  • Learn agile methods for software development & project tracking.
  • Support users who have questions and problems with our applications.
Organization Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
  • Available to work in a part-time capacity (10-25 hours per week) in the fall and spring and full-time in summer 2023.
  • Experience in Java and Python programming is mandatory.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and server scripting (Linux) is desirable.
  • Knowledge in Perl, PHP, JavaScript, XML is also desirable.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Result-driven, detail-oriented.
  • Quick learner and team player.
The hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
