The Managed Services business is a segment of the Digital Grid Division of Siemens which focuses on sustainable technologies for metropolitan areas and their infrastructures. 
Managed Services is an innovative supplier of solutions to meet the pressing challenges associated with measuring and managing energy use.  We have been developing and delivering smart metering in the UK for over 20 years and our customers include energy suppliers, energy generators, consultants, and Industrial & commercial businesses.

This is an exciting time to join our Corporate Account Management team (Industrial and Commercial) as we explore the opportunities generated from market and technology changes and launch new propositions to differentiate from the competition, improve customer experience and increase Siemens market share. 

Your Responsibilities

As a Corporate Account Manager, you will have responsibility for the management of a portfolio of key customer accounts, building strong relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, growing profitable revenue in accordance with budget commitments and securing profitable contract renewals 
  • Work with operational teams to ensue customer satisfaction, resulting in generation of new opportunities. 
  • Develop a sound customer contact network that enables you to:
  • Generates knowledge on the customer's specific strategy and its business environment.
  • Analyse customer's markets, position and needs to investigate specific business opportunities for customer related product and service portfolio.
  • Build Supplier market specific value-oriented propositions. 
  • Define and implement an account business plan (3 to 5 years). 
  • Have good financial management of accounts including invoicing, accruals, credit notes and debt management.
  • Provide timely and accurate completion of all internal reporting, approval and governance documentation including monthly reports, pipeline management and proposal approval governance.
  • You will initiate, facilitate, and lead contract negotiations for new services, variations, and renewals.  
  • Manage customer complaints as a point of escalation, if necessary.

What Skills and Experience Do You Bring?
  • An experienced Account Manager with a demonstrable level of success developing enduring and profitable customer relationships
  • Experience in Utilities services with an understanding of the energy market and ideally metering services.
  • The ability to communicate, influence and present effectively at all levels within Siemens and customers.
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Effective and proven commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Competent in excel with the ability to analyse and compare datasets in the financial management of the accounts
