Network Automatization & Digitalization Manager

This role is within the IT Global Hub organization, Integration Management Chapter, and directly within the Organization Integration (OI) Service. Working alongside the OI service lead, this position has end-to-end responsibility for the service which is responsible for developing and implementing IT excellence initiatives in the areas of organization development, people excellence, communications, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

  • Consult Process Owners and coordinate activities
  • Develop and align concepts/ specifications (API)
  • Steer and control external Developer Teams
  • Define acceptance criteria and perform Release Management
  • Drive Quality Control and Continuous improvement
  • Ensure proper documentation of solutions
  • Alignment with Siemens stakeholder outside of our organization
  • Engage with external development teams and meet quality standards
  • Cost Control of development tasks
  • Delivery of reporting and forecasting to senior team members and other stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key contacts
  • Automate complex workflows and processes

  • API integrations working experience
  • IT automation working knowledge
  • Service Management experience in IT related areas
  • Network technical experience or Network Project Management experience
  • Software Development experience or Software Project Management experience
  • ITIL framework knowledge; certification is preferred; specific processes ownership a plus
  • IT Process Design experience is preferred
  • Data Management and Data Analysis experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Data Bases, Reporting tools are helpful.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, and good negotiation skills
  • Business-fluent English language skills (speaking and writing) are necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of digital library and metadata standards and best practices for creating digital objects from a variety of original formats, required
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to establish priorities and achieve goals, required
  • Well-developed skill in organization and planning; analytical thinking and problem-solving demonstrated through work experience, required
  • Ability to plan and direct project workflows in a complex production setting and meet timelines, required
  • Ability to adapt to change, analyze and assess problems; take initiative to find creative solutions, required
  • Demonstrated skill working independently and collaboratively in a complex environment, required
  • Plans and directs the work of multiple in-house and vendor projects and activities to meet departmental and Library goals and priorities
  • Identifies, tests and recommends useful commercial and open source software for image capture and file processing; implements new hardware and software into production workflows
  • Develops methods and procedures, and works with digital library partners and developers to automate and improve activities and production workflows
  • Incorporates databases, scripts, and image processing utilities to enhance workflows
  • Keeps abreast of digital initiatives, emerging standards, projects, and activities on a regional, national and international level
  • Service Now knowledge is a plus
