Key Account Manager

  • Coordinate and collaborate with other businesses and functions to plan and execute global account strategies.
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
  • Develop a complete understanding of key account needs
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Partner with the customer to the extent that you are immersed in the operations of the customer and become an expert.
  • Analyze client data to provide customer relationship management
  • Lead all aspects of development of strategies for profitable penetration into new or existing market segments.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
  • Develop sponsorship with key decision makers.


  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success in effectively managing in a complex, conceptual selling environment 
  • Proven success in the identification, negotiation, and closing of deals that are profitable and that minimize exposure to risk for Siemens.
  • Proven innovation in generating and leading implementation efforts of total solutions (product/services, 3rd party alliances) and market opportunities.
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills
  • Maintain a commitment to outstanding customer service and able to build solid client relationships as a trusted partner
  • Possess exceptional negotiation skills
  • Possess experience with tracking sales leads utilizing a CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Must be willing to travel (50+%).
  • Possess 5+ years proven successful experience.
